RECIPE Cucumbers & Vinegar

Grandma Dodson’s recipe.  It’s best to let sit over night for eating the following day.

4 cucumbers

5-6 thinly slices of onions

2 cups of cider vinegar

1 1/2 cups of water

1/8 cup of salt

1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce

2 1/2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp accent

1/2 tsp soy sauce

After peeling the cucumber, take a fork and scraped down each side to make lines or marks in it.  Grandma always said it allowed the juice to get into the cucumbers.  Slice up the cucumbers into thin slices and throw all ingredients together into a bowl.  Stir.  Cover and let sit overnight so all of the ingredients can meld together.
